The only answer to these questions is new India’s changed paradigm hasn’t been able to counterpart poverty, casteism. It has not found out sustainable solution to issue of unemployment. this has also been lagged to counterpart the corruption from root. And problem of terrorism still persist. And environmental challenges are still an issue.
This is not because of failure of ideas of new India pursuit of excellence. all these problems are deep rooted , hence require time and continuous effort to excel in these issues. new India or sankalp se siddi is not a pledge or paradigm shift , it is a vision towards building new and better India for tomorrow.
Excellence forms core part of new India as Dr. Kalam said, a nation can excel only if its citizen can excel individually. new India’s excellence is a novel idea that needs to be nourished , nurtured by each and every one. Youth play an important role in making this vision come true. Young people possess energy, but it should be channelized in the right direction. It is on the shoulders of the young that the future of the country rests because they represent new values, new thinking and the new ways of life. Political freedom gives duties as well in responsibilities. These are more important as the case of India because we want to be free from poverty, disease and all types of divisive forces. The young in India can seize the opportunities for doing something for the country. So they will give new enthusiasm and energy to carry forward the programme which has been chalked out for the country.
